The Stor Hus (Big House) is our former camp dining hall. Our guests love the tremendous kitchen and cookstove and the living area has been renovated into a cozy camp cottage with plenty of room to lounge around the woodstove. Three bedrooms in all - one with double bed, another with bunk-beds, and the third has twin beds.
Rent is $1,000 per week, plus tax.
Pop's cottage is newly renovated as of 2009. It sits in a central area of the camp and has two brand new bedrooms and a new kitchen. The master bedroom is nestled in the woods with a queen-sized bed and a nearby guest room has two twin beds. The living area and kitchen are all in the main section of the cottage, central of course to the woodstove.
Rent is $750 per week, plus tax.
Ink's Spot is the former cottage of our beloved aunt and sister, Ingrid . It is very cozily situated in the woods with a lovely deck and additional sleeping cottage for two, if needed. The main cottage contains a double bedroom with large windows overlooking the woods as well as a single bedroom.
Rent is $700 per week, plus tax.
The Nest is our former camp office, located close to the lake within range of the loons and sunsets at night. It sleeps one or two, with a single bedroom containing a double bed. A lovely deck looks out over the lake. If you are interested in a small cozy cottage right near the water, the Office is just the spot!
Rent is $500 per week, plus tax.
Andy's Cottage is located about 1/2 mile down our camp road from Skoglund. It is a private cottage with a private waterfront. Andy's has a large living area with fireplace, a screened porch and large deck, as well as queen-sized bedroom and guest room with twin beds.
Rent is $1,050 per week, plus tax.
The Lodge is the crown jewel of Camp Skoglund, sitting a mere ten feet from the water's edge. It was the former home to camp gatherings, 'coke-times' and hootenanny's and it holds many, many happy memories for all who have stayed here. The Lodge has a large living area with woodstove, a dining area, and a large kitchen. There is a single bedroom on the first floor and a loft with twin beds and double bedroom on the second floor.
Rent is $1,100 per week, plus tax.
